Every now and then, the body needs to flush out the different toxins that we have consumed. This creates balance to keep our bodies healthy and in good condition. But with the modern things that we consume, it seems that our bodies and minds need a different kind of cleansing. For me personally, I think that I’m affected too much by the things I see and read on my Facebook and twitter account so I launched my social media cleansing and if it was an addiction, I can proudly say that I have been sober for five glorious days and counting!
It wad hard for me at first am because there are a lot of mediums wherein I can access these sites from. There’s my laptop and of course, my smartphone. It was easy to avoid the laptop and a little bit harder with my phone so to fight the craving for Facebook and Twitter, I removed these applications from my phone. And hey, it works! In any kind of cleansing, you really need the correct mindset to achieve your goal.
In truth, I’m veering away from social media sites for an indefinite time. So far, I am still firm in my decision to flush it out of my system and frankly, I don’t really see it as an essential part of my life. I figured, I have my friends’ numbers and they sure have got mine. If they wanted to know what I’m up to, they can always give me all.
