When You’re Not in the Mood

Have you ever been in a situation where in you need to accomplish something but you’re just not motivated enough to do the things you need to? Well, if you’re not in the mood, you should just give it a rest and don’t do it. Trying to do something when you’re heart’s not in it will just give you half-baked results. What’s worse is that, you might end up doing it over again or revising what you came up with. When this happens, you just wasted twice the time on something.

Give yourself a rest and do whatever distraction you can find. Do something else and hope that at the end of your distraction, you’ll have the motivation to work on the things you need to to. This always work with me but they may not work as conveniently for others. Either way, I stick to my statement that don’t do something when you’re not fully dedicated to it. There’s always a right time and mood. You just have to wait for it.
