a break from the eating personality lesson

Let’s have a break from our previous post. This is due to my corrupted thumb drive, because the lessons are there and I’ll be looking for the hard copy.

6. THE FAD EATER – EATING FOOD IS VAGUE

Fad eaters will try every new trend diet in print, or any best seller meals they read about, especially when eaten by celebrities or famous persons. They want to be “in,” whatever is the latest dieting buzzword in circulation. These people will try any and every diet, even if life threatening. They just want to be in style.
Solution: Education is the best cure. A well-informed food consumer will know where to go for real professional advice. Not everything you read is good, accurate and scientifically proven. So go to professionals who know their business before embarking on a new herbal cure or going on a miracle meal or an all-in-one potion therapy.

5. THE HYPOCHONDRIAC EATER – FOOD IS THE ROOT OF ALL ILLS.

Hypochondriac are people highly preoccupied with medical syndromes and illness. This preoccupation makes them pseudo-experts in medicines and cures. They can expound endlessly and with much seeming knowledge on medical subjects.
You’ll often hear from them statements such as “Eggs increase cholesterol, drinking makes triglycerides skyrocket salty food develops hypertension and internal organs cause gout”
These people are irritating to have around during meal time for several reasons. One, they take all food restrictions to the extreme and so catering to them is a pain in the neck. Second, they preach to others repeatedly, to the extend that it’s not a joyful experience to eat with them. Third, any deviation from what they consider a correct diet may bring a host of imaginary ailments that can lead to medical abuse as they self-medicate their own ailments.
Solution: Find a preoccupation more interesting than blaming food as the root of all ills. Often, the mind can influence the body powerfully and too many suggestions may actually make the physical self ill for no real reason.

4. THE CLOSET EATER – FOOD IS A PRIVATE ACT

Closet eaters may not eat much in public but tend to indulge when alone. These people may have various reasons for doing this. Some women find it unfeminine to eat like a laborer while with others, so they just pick on their food or eat salads. When they reached home, however, they make up for it.
Others may, by nature, be loners. They can be shy and retiring around others, so they do most of their activities in private. Problem is, they may make up for their solitude by seeking the company of foods too often.
Solution: for whatever reason come out of your shell,. Be true to yourself and be confident. You may not please everybody, but I guarantee some will like you for your self. Eating with others doesn’t have to be chore or a suffering.

3. THE GUILTY EATER – FOOD IS TEMPTATION

Guilt eaters are on a perpetual diet, whether they need to be or not. They swing from one side of the pendulum to the other, often denying themselves for days oon end but then overcompensating by either eating too much or too richly. They indulge, so guilt is felt very keenly and they once again deny themselves to the extreme. This cycle continues and becomes habitual if not overcome.
Solution: Addressing guilt by punishing yourself is not healthy on your psyche. The problem with guilt eaters is they go to extreme. Put in place a more correct and rational balance in your eating habits and you’ll feel less of an urge for punishment. Stop the destructive cycle

2. The Emotional Eater – Food is Comfort

Emotional eaters use food as a coping mechanism to make themselves feel better. Because eating is a pleasure and is magnified when the food partaken tastes fantastic, these people use foods to relieve stress, to lift their spirits, to forget heartbreak and to overcome sadness.
the problem with this approach os two-fold . on the psychological front, using food to cope may temporarily offer comfort but is seldom effective in getting rid of the root cause of the difficulty. Secondly, from the view point of health and nutrition, comfort foods are usually high in fat and calorie content. Examples of foods often reached for include chocolates, ice cream, cakes, pastries, chips, chicharon and bacon rinds.
Solution: Find healthier coping alternatives for unsought emotions. Exercise is a great booster because it releases ” feel good” hormones in the body- a fact so often overlooked because people think working out is tiring. Talking to a good friend about a difficulty may have a cathartic affect. On the practical side, stay away from the fridge and the kitchen when you’re in a bad mood.

1. The Social Eater – Food is Fun

Here’s the first Eating personality you can compare your self.

Social eaters love to eat with people and know all the best eating places and parties in town. However, they seldom dine alone. For them, gatherings are a chance to mix two great pleasures: eating and having fun. A party gives them a good excuse to indulge in both. They are usually eat and drink like there’s no tomorrow. Suffering comes the day after: from party hangovers and indigent eating.
Solution: While it’s okay to socialize and eat, the mindset before party time should revolve on eating nutritiously and consciously. By this I mean awareness of what you’re eating. Concentrate on the fun, not the food bingeing.

One of the most fascinating subjects which behavioral scientists, sociologists, psychologist and now, nutritionist, are trying to understand is personality. What exactly is personality? Some sociologists define it as the sum total of one’s living habits. Webster defines it as the sum of total physical, mental, emotional and social characteristics of an individual. If so, can one categorize eating personalities?

Weight Problem?

Another common problem today, mostly girls, is their body weight. Either over weight or under weight. To avoid this problem here is a few tips to achieve healthy body weight:
• Avoid excess intake of calories.
• Maintain a level of physical activity that achieves fitness and balances energy expenditure with caloric intake; for weight reduction, expenditure should exceed intake. Limit foods that are high in calories and/or low in nutritional quality, including those with a high amount of added sugar.
• For obese individuals, the guidelines recommend a gradual weight loss of no more that one to two pounds per week.

Jason Aguilar Ivler…Captured!!!

It’s been almost 2 months since the tragedy happened that involved the nephew of singer Freddie Aguilar. It was because of a vehicular incident that Jason shot a palace official to death.
A manhunt operation was declared and even put a million reward for any information that will lead to Jason Ivler.

A mistaken identity was also been report, when an OFW from Doha,Qatar was jailed and deported back to our country for having the same name.

And this morning Jason Aguilar Ivler was arrested. NBI agents experienced difficulty in getting the suspect this is because the suspect fire gun to the agent that resulted to have 3 injured persons, which includes 2 NBI agent, That are both in a safe state as of this writing. And Jason Ivler his self was injured.It was said that he was operated due to the bullet wound that hit his large Stomach.

His mother will also be facing some legal problems for hiding her son, a crime suspect.even his step father might be charged.
