Yes folks, again we are facing another strong typhoon and basing on the satellite images from PagAsa, typhoon Santi (Mirinae, international name) will directly hit our province of Bulacan. I just hope that my fellowmen are prepared and informed of the coming typhoon.

At 4:00 pm today, the center of Typhoon “SANTI” (MIRINAE) {0921} was located based on satellite and surface data at 230 kms East of Infanta, Quezon (14.8°N, 124.1°E) with maximum sustained winds of 150 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 185 kph. It is moving West Southwest at 24 kph.

I was so pissed yesterday! I was out, driving. I went to my old high school classmate to have him fix my defective monitor (he does electronic repairs now) and while I was closing my car’s door, my watch hit the door and now there’s this scratch. It was an inch long! Darn it!

Told it to my wife and she felt sorry too. We love that car, too bad we can’t keep it scratch free. Oh well, I guess we just have to either live with it or buy another car. I guess I’ll go with the former

I was Superman today! I didn’t leap tall buildings, nor been faster than a speeding bullet… But I felt like I have super human strenght when I did 3 things today! Oh my god! Such feat! Believe me, if you knew me, you will be impressed. I am the type of person who would not finish anything in a whole day. But today, boy oh boy, is different. I managed to “finish” 3 tasks!

Here are they…

First, I went to see my doctor for my overdue hypothyrodism (ex-hyperthyroidism)check up! I woke up very early in the morning and prepare myself. I got there around 8:30… 9:00am, the secretary arrived. I asked her when will the doctor be there, she said 10:30.. Asked her if I can just go back by 12noon, she said ok.. and I was off to do another errand.

Second task – CPU replacement. I went to Greenhills around 9:30 and was there before 11am. The technician did a couple of checking and all, but I knew the day before that it’s broken. He replaced it.

I went back to the hospital after that. I was back there a little after 12noon! By 12:30 pm I was drving again going home for the 3rd task.

Third task – work. Yes sir. I do middle shift at the office. I also do work from home even though the boss said i should go to the office. I just finished my shift that’s why i am writing all about my day here, now.

It’s midweek and it started raining again. I now worry every time i hear the sound of rain dropping in our roof top. The two consecutive typhoon that hit us in the past two weeks are traumatizing!

Anyway, with regards to the business, it’s doing Ok in spite of the rain. The day was more complete when my nephew and nieces dropped by the shop to say ‘hey’. I love those kids, they always makes my day bright… even though there’s rain outside.
